Membership Categories

If your organization operates, sponsors or is developing an incubation program, or if you represent an economic development agency or other nonprofit organization, you are eligible to select one of the following two categories. Membership fees are not affected by your location. NBIA welcomes and serves members from around the world. Most incubation programs will select the Incubation Professional category to allow multiple staff and/or stakeholders to be engaged in the industry:

• Incubation Professional


• Associate

If your organization is a for-profit entity that does not operate an incubator, the size of your organization will determine which of the following categories you may select:

• Consultant/Vendor/Service Provider (for companies with five or fewer employees)


• Corporate (for companies with more than five employees)
