Three of the workshops offered at this event fulfill requirements for the NBIA Incubator Management Certificate Program. Serving Client Companies, The Fundamentals of Incubator Management and Entrepreneurship are scheduled for the Preconference Institute before the conference begins. Entrepreneurship and The Fundamentals of Incubator Management will run concurrently on Saturday, April 6. If you are beginning the program at the conference and wish to complete your certificate at the 2013 Training Institute, we recommend you take Entrepreneurship and Serving Client Companies at the conference.
For participants who started the certificate program prior to June 2012, NBIA will offer a number of sessions during the conference that will satisfy the old requirement that program participants complete five certificate sessions. We will have more information about fulfilling these requirements available as the conference draws nearer.
Note: Due to changes to the certificate program curriculum, current certificate program participants can choose to complete the five conference sessions (in addition to the three daylong workshops) or instead to meet the new four-workshop requirement (including the new workshop, Entrepreneurship). Participants starting the program after June 2012 do not have to complete the five 75-minute sessions but are required to take Entrepreneurship. Visit www.nbia.org/certificate for more information.
